I am Maria Jose, I am a reliable, caring and trustful 28 years old Especial Education Teacher from Spain, married to my best friend Daniel, whit a genuine vocation towards working with children.

 

I have dedicated my whole professional life to little (and not so little) ones. After finishing my Bachelor Degree, I specialized in children with Intellectual Disabilities in Barquisimeto - Venezuela, and moved to Canberra in February 2016.

 

While studying to obtain a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care at the CIT, I have been working as a babysitter following the path I started over 10 years ago, on my spare time in College.

 

Reading, painting, crafting & baking are just a few of my favourite activities. I love getting to know the kids under my care, and to encourage them to learn while having fun.

 

I truly believe that there’s nothing more rewarding that the pure love a child can give. I have THE BEST profession in the world!
